मध्यभागे स्थितं यच्च रुद्रकुण्डं प्रकीर्तितम् । कुण्डमध्याद्विनिर्गत्य यत्र गंगा वरानने
madhyabhāge sthitaṃ yacca rudrakuṇḍaṃ prakīrtitam | kuṇḍamadhyādvinirgatya yatra gaṃgā varānane
മധ്യഭാഗത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നതാണ് ‘രുദ്രകുണ്ഡം’ എന്നു കീര്ത്തിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഹേ സുന്ദരമുഖിയേ! ആ കുണ്ഡത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഗംഗ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ച് പുറപ്പെടുന്നു।
