ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | abhiṣekāya no deva nadī pāpapraṇāśinī | vilokyate suraśreṣṭha dehi no varamuttamam

ഋഷികൾ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദേവാ! ഞങ്ങളുടെ അഭിഷേകത്തിനായി പാപനാശിനിയായ ഒരു നദി വേണം. ഹേ സുരശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഈ ഉത്തമ വരം ദയചെയ്യുക.
