Transliteration

sarvānkeśānsamuddhṛtya cchedayedaṃguladvayam | tato devānvidhānena tarppayetpitṛdevatāḥ

Translation

എല്ലാ മുടിയും കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്ത് രണ്ട് വിരൽ നീളം മാത്രം മുറിക്കണം. തുടർന്ന് വിധിപ്രകാരം ദേവന്മാർക്കും പിതൃദേവതകൾക്കും തർപ്പണം അർപ്പിക്കണം.
