ततो देवगणाः सर्वे स्थलाकारं महार्णवम् । शनैःशनैः प्रपश्यंतो भयेन महताऽन्विताः
tato devagaṇāḥ sarve sthalākāraṃ mahārṇavam | śanaiḥśanaiḥ prapaśyaṃto bhayena mahatā'nvitāḥ
അപ്പോൾ എല്ലാ ദേവഗണങ്ങളും പതുക്കെ പതുക്കെ മഹാസമുദ്രം കരഭൂമിരൂപം കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നത് കണ്ടു; അവർ മഹാഭയത്തിൽ മുങ്ങി।
