प्रार्थनाभङ्गभीताश्च ततो देवाः सवासवाः । प्रणष्टास्तान्सुरान्दृष्ट्वा ब्राह्मणाश्चानुवव्रजुः
prārthanābhaṅgabhītāśca tato devāḥ savāsavāḥ | praṇaṣṭāstānsurāndṛṣṭvā brāhmaṇāścānuvavrajuḥ
ബ്രാഹ്മണരുടെ അപേക്ഷ ഭംഗപ്പെടുമോ എന്ന ഭയത്തില് ഇന്ദ്രനോടുകൂടിയ ദേവന്മാര് അന്തര്ധാനം ചെയ്തു; ദേവന്മാര് അപ്രത്യക്ഷരാകുന്നത് കണ്ട ബ്രാഹ്മണരും അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ പോയി।
