किमर्थं वरशापं तु तस्य दत्तं द्विजैः पुरा । सर्वं विस्तरतो ब्रूहि महान्मे संशयोऽत्र वै

kimarthaṃ varaśāpaṃ tu tasya dattaṃ dvijaiḥ purā | sarvaṃ vistarato brūhi mahānme saṃśayo'tra vai

മുന്‍പ് ദ്വിജ ഋഷിമാര്‍ അവന് വരവും ശാപവും ഏതു കാരണത്താല്‍ നല്‍കി? എല്ലാം വിശദമായി പറയുക; ഇവിടെ എനിക്ക് മഹാ സംശയം ഉണര്‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു।
