अग्निश्च रेतो मृडया च देहो रेतोधा विष्णुरमृतस्य नाभिः । एतद्ब्रुवन्पार्वति सत्यवाक्यं ततोऽवगाहेत्तु पतिं नदीनाम्

agniśca reto mṛḍayā ca deho retodhā viṣṇuramṛtasya nābhiḥ | etadbruvanpārvati satyavākyaṃ tato'vagāhettu patiṃ nadīnām

അഗ്നിയാണ് ബീജം; മൃഡൻ (ശിവൻ) കൃപയാൽ ദേഹം രൂപപ്പെടുന്നു; വിഷ്ണു ആ ബീജത്തിന്റെ ധാരകനും അമൃതത്തിന്റെ നാഭിയും ആകുന്നു. ഹേ പാർവതി, ഈ സത്യവാക്യം ഉച്ചരിച്ച് പിന്നെ നദീനാഥന്റെ ജലത്തിൽ ശുദ്ധിസ്നാനാർത്ഥം അവഗാഹനം ചെയ്യണം.
