तस्य स्त्रीणां सहस्राणि चत्वार्यासन्परिग्रहाः । एकैव तु सुता शुभ्रा सुकन्यानाम नामतः
tasya strīṇāṃ sahasrāṇi catvāryāsanparigrahāḥ | ekaiva tu sutā śubhrā sukanyānāma nāmataḥ
അവനു നാലായിരം ഭാര്യമാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അവനു ഒരേയൊരു ദീപ്തിമതി പുത്രി മാത്രമേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളൂ; അവൾ ‘സുകന്യാ’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധയായിരുന്നു।
