अंगिरा उवाच । भोभोस्तस्कर मे वाक्यं शृणुष्वावहितः क्षणात् । आत्मनस्तु हितार्थाय सत्यं चैव वदाम्यहम् । तव कः पोष्यवर्गोऽस्ति तच्च सर्वं वदस्व मे

aṃgirā uvāca | bhobhostaskara me vākyaṃ śṛṇuṣvāvahitaḥ kṣaṇāt | ātmanastu hitārthāya satyaṃ caiva vadāmyaham | tava kaḥ poṣyavargo'sti tacca sarvaṃ vadasva me

അങ്കിരാ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ കള്ളനേ, ഒരു നിമിഷം ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ എന്റെ വാക്ക് കേൾക്കുക. നിന്റെ ക്ഷേമത്തിനായി ഞാൻ സത്യം തന്നെ പറയുന്നു. നിന്നെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് ആരൊക്കെയാണ് പോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്? എല്ലാവരെയും എനിക്ക് പറയുക.”
