ईश्वर उवाच । तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा भगवांस्त्रिपुरांतकः । अंगुष्ठं ताडयामास अंगुल्यग्रेण भामिनि
īśvara uvāca | tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā bhagavāṃstripurāṃtakaḥ | aṃguṣṭhaṃ tāḍayāmāsa aṃgulyagreṇa bhāmini
ഈശ്വരൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് ഭഗവാൻ ത്രിപുരാന്തകൻ, ഹേ സുന്ദരി, വിരലിന്റെ അഗ്രം കൊണ്ട് തന്റെ അങ്കുഷ്ഠത്തെ അടിച്ചു।
