ईश्वर उवाच । तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा वसिष्ठस्य महात्मनः । प्रभासं क्षेत्रमासाद्य माहेश्वर्यास्तटे शुभे
īśvara uvāca | tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā vasiṣṭhasya mahātmanaḥ | prabhāsaṃ kṣetramāsādya māheśvaryāstaṭe śubhe
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—മഹാത്മാവായ വസിഷ്ഠന്റെ ആ വചനങ്ങൾ ശ്രവിച്ച ശേഷം അവൻ പ്രഭാസക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെത്തി, മാഹേശ്വരിയുടെ ശുഭതീരത്തെ പ്രാപിച്ചു।
