रक्तवासोभिराच्छन्नं द्विभुजं तिग्मतेजसम् । तं दृष्ट्वा सारथिं प्राह पद्ममेतत्समाहर
raktavāsobhirācchannaṃ dvibhujaṃ tigmatejasam | taṃ dṛṣṭvā sārathiṃ prāha padmametatsamāhara
ചുവന്ന വസ്ത്രങ്ങളാൽ മൂടപ്പെട്ടും, ദ്വിഭുജനായി, തീക്ഷ്ണ തേജസ്സോടെ ജ്വലിച്ചും നിന്ന അവനെ കണ്ട രാജാവ് സാരഥിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു—“ആ താമര ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവരിക।”
