विश्वामित्र उवाच । कामं कामयमानस्य यदि कामः स सिद्ध्यति । तथैनमपरः कामो भूयो विध्यति बाणवत्
viśvāmitra uvāca | kāmaṃ kāmayamānasya yadi kāmaḥ sa siddhyati | tathainamaparaḥ kāmo bhūyo vidhyati bāṇavat
വിശ്വാമിത്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ഒരു ആഗ്രഹം സിദ്ധിച്ചാലും, മറ്റൊരു ആഗ്രഹം അമ്പുപോലെ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും അവനെ കുത്തുന്നു.
