ṣaṣṭhyāṃ caiva tu śuklāyāmenaṃ yaḥ pūjayiṣyati | gamiṣyati paraṃ sthānaṃ yatra devo divākaraḥ

ശുക്ലപക്ഷത്തിലെ ഷഷ്ഠി തിഥിയിൽ അവനെ പൂജിക്കുന്നവൻ, ദേവൻ ദിവാകരൻ (സൂര്യൻ) വസിക്കുന്ന പരമസ്ഥാനത്തെ പ്രാപിക്കും।
