ācakhyuḥ saṃkaṭaṃ tasyāste devā ruruceṣṭitam | śrutvā jahāsa sā devī devānāṃ kārya siddhaye

Translation

ദേവന്മാർ റുരുവിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാൽ ഉണ്ടായ അവരുടെ ദുരിതം അവൾക്ക് അറിയിച്ചു. അത് കേട്ട് ദേവന്മാരുടെ കാര്യം സിദ്ധിക്കാനായി ആ ദേവി ഹസിച്ചു.
