देव्युवाच । एवं प्रभावो देवेशः सोमेशः पापनाशनः । केनोपायेन तुष्येत व्रतेन नियमेन वा
devyuvāca | evaṃ prabhāvo deveśaḥ someśaḥ pāpanāśanaḥ | kenopāyena tuṣyeta vratena niyamena vā
ദേവി പറഞ്ഞു—ദേവേശനായ സോമേശ്വരൻ പാപനാശകൻ; ഇത്തരമൊരു മഹിമയുള്ളവൻ. ഏത് ഉപായത്താൽ അദ്ദേഹം തൃപ്തനാകും—ഏത് വ്രതത്തിലൂടെയോ, ഏത് നിയമത്തിലൂടെയോ?
