pārśve sthitastadā brahmā vidhānairveda bhāṣitaiḥ | dīkṣayāmāsa somaṃ tu rohiṇyā sahitaṃ vibhum

അപ്പോൾ സമീപത്ത് നിന്ന ബ്രഹ്മാവ്, വേദോക്ത വിധാനങ്ങൾ പ്രകാരം, രോഹിണിയോടുകൂടിയ വിഭുവായ സോമനു ദീക്ഷ നൽകി.
