ये केचिद्भवितारो वा अतीता ये निशाकराः । तेषां सोमान्वयानां च सर्वेषामाद्यदैवतम्
ye kecidbhavitāro vā atītā ye niśākarāḥ | teṣāṃ somānvayānāṃ ca sarveṣāmādyadaivatam
ഭാവിയിൽ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ചന്ദ്രന്മാരായാലും, കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയ ചന്ദ്രന്മാരായാലും—സോമവംശത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാവർക്കും ഈ (സോമേശ്വരൻ) ആദിദേവതയാണ്।
