भूमिं भित्त्वा विवेशाथ तत्र लिंगमपश्यत । स्पर्शाख्यं तं तु संछाद्य मधुना दर्भमूलकैः
bhūmiṃ bhittvā viveśātha tatra liṃgamapaśyata | sparśākhyaṃ taṃ tu saṃchādya madhunā darbhamūlakaiḥ
അവൻ ഭൂമിയെ ഭേദിച്ച് അകത്തു പ്രവേശിച്ചു; അവിടെ ഒരു ലിംഗം ദർശിച്ചു. ‘സ്പർശ’ എന്ന ആ ലിംഗത്തെ തേനും ദർഭമൂലങ്ങളും കൊണ്ട് മൂടി ഭക്ത്യാദരത്തോടെ പരിചരിച്ചു.
