bheruṃḍāni ca sāmāni cchaṃdogaḥ paścime'japat | atharvātharvaśirasaṃ skambhastaṃbhamatharvaṇam

Translation

പടിഞ്ഞാറുദിക്കിൽ ഛാന്ദോഗൻ ‘ഭേരുണ്ഡ’ എന്ന സാമഗാനങ്ങൾ ജപിച്ചു. കൂടാതെ അതർവണപരമ്പരയിലെ അതർവശിരസ്സും സ്കംഭ-സ്തംഭ സൂക്തവും പാരായണം ചെയ്തു.
