अनावृष्टिभये जाते शांतिं तत्रैव कारयेत् । वारुणीं विप्रमुख्यैस्तु भावयेदुदकैर्महीम्

Transliteration

anāvṛṣṭibhaye jāte śāṃtiṃ tatraiva kārayet | vāruṇīṃ vipramukhyaistu bhāvayedudakairmahīm

Translation

അനാവൃഷ്ടിയുടെ ഭയം ഉണ്ടായാൽ, അവിടെയേ ശാന്തികർമ്മം നടത്തിക്കൊള്ളണം. പ്രമുഖ ബ്രാഹ്മണരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ വാരുണീവിധി അനുഷ്ഠിച്ച് ജലങ്ങളാൽ ഭൂമിയെ അഭിഷേകിച്ച് പവിത്രമാക്കണം.
