नायमानेतुमादिष्टो देवशर्मां मया तव । अन्योस्ति देवशर्मा यस्त मानय गतायुषम् । एनं विप्रं च दीर्घायुं नय तत्राविलंबितम्
nāyamānetumādiṣṭo devaśarmāṃ mayā tava | anyosti devaśarmā yasta mānaya gatāyuṣam | enaṃ vipraṃ ca dīrghāyuṃ naya tatrāvilaṃbitam
“ഇവൻ ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് കൊണ്ടുവരാൻ കല്പിച്ച ദേവശർമൻ അല്ല. ആയുസ്സ് തീർന്ന മറ്റൊരു ദേവശർമൻ ഉണ്ട്—അവനെ കൊണ്ടുവരിക. എന്നാൽ ഈ ദീർഘായുസ്സുള്ള ബ്രാഹ്മണനെ താമസമില്ലാതെ അവിടേക്കുതന്നെ തിരികെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുക.”
