paryuṣita uvāca | mukto'haṃ tvatprasādena pretabhāvāddvijottama | svasti te'stu gamiṣyāmi vimānaṃ me hyupasthitam
Paryuṣita
Tirtha: Haripriyā-tīrtha (implied cause of fruit)
Type: ghat
Listener: Dvijottama (the sage)
Scene: In a dream, Paryuṣita announces liberation from preta-state by the sage’s grace, blesses him, and departs as a celestial vimāna arrives.
Compassionate dharmic help—especially tīrtha-śrāddha—can release a departed being from preta-existence and grant higher realms.
Haripriya Tīrtha in Prabhāsakṣetra is the implied sacred locus behind this liberation.
The verse highlights the fruit of śrāddha; it implies the efficacy of properly performed rites for preta-śānti and gati.
