ഹോമാർപ്പണത്താൽ പാപം ശമിക്കുന്നു; അർപ്പിച്ച അന്നവും ശുഭമാകുന്നു. അന്നം സ്വർണ്ണദാനത്താൽ പവിത്രമാകുന്നു; സ്വർണ്ണം ബ്രാഹ്മണാശീർവാദത്താൽ പവിത്രമാകുന്നു.
