रुष्टा क्लिष्टा दुर्बला व्याधिता च न दातव्या या च मूल्यैरदत्तैः । लेशो विप्रेभ्यो यया जायते वै तस्या दातुश्चाफलाः सर्वलोकाः
ruṣṭā kliṣṭā durbalā vyādhitā ca na dātavyā yā ca mūlyairadattaiḥ | leśo viprebhyo yayā jāyate vai tasyā dātuścāphalāḥ sarvalokāḥ
കോപമുള്ള, ക്ലേശിത, ദുർബല അല്ലെങ്കിൽ രോഗബാധിതയായ ഗാവിനെ ദാനം ചെയ്യരുത്; വില വിധിപൂർവം അടച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തതും നൽകരുത്. ആ ദാനത്തിൽ ബ്രാഹ്മണർക്കു അല്പമെങ്കിലും അസന്തോഷം ജനിച്ചാൽ, ദാതാവിന് എല്ലാ ലോകഫലങ്ങളും നിഷ്ഫലമാകും.
