तस्माच्छ्रोत्रिय एवार्हो गुणवाञ्छीलवाञ्छुचिः । अव्यंगस्तत्र निर्दोषः पात्राणां परमं स्मृतम्
tasmācchrotriya evārho guṇavāñchīlavāñchuciḥ | avyaṃgastatra nirdoṣaḥ pātrāṇāṃ paramaṃ smṛtam
അതുകൊണ്ട് ശ്രോത്രിയനേ യഥാർത്ഥ പാത്രൻ—ഗുണവാൻ, ശീലവാൻ, ശുചി; അവ്യംഗൻ, നിർദോഷൻ, നിർമലൻ—പാത്രന്മാരിൽ പരമനെന്നു സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
