मृतेऽहनि पितुर्यस्तु न कुर्याच्छ्राद्धमादरात् । मातुश्चैव वरारोहे स द्विजः शूद्रसंनिभः
mṛte'hani pituryastu na kuryācchrāddhamādarāt | mātuścaiva varārohe sa dvijaḥ śūdrasaṃnibhaḥ
പിതാവിന്റെ മരണദിവസത്തിൽ ആദരത്തോടെ ശ്രാദ്ധം ചെയ്യാത്തവനും, മാതാവിനും അതുപോലെ, ഹേ വരാരോഹേ, അത്തരം ദ്വിജൻ ധർമ്മസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ശൂദ്രസദൃശനാണ്।
