अष्टमो यो मुहूर्तश्च कुतपः स निगद्यते । नवमो रौहिणः प्रोक्त इति श्राद्धविदो विदुः
aṣṭamo yo muhūrtaśca kutapaḥ sa nigadyate | navamo rauhiṇaḥ prokta iti śrāddhavido viduḥ
എട്ടാമത്തെ മുഹൂർത്തം ‘കുതപ’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; ഒൻപതാമത്തേത് ‘റൗഹിണ’ എന്നു പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു—ഇങ്ങനെ ശ്രാദ്ധവിദർ അറിയുന്നു।
