संगवस्त्रिमुहूर्तोऽयं मध्याह्नस्तु समन्ततः । ततश्च त्रिमुहूर्ताश्च अपराह्णो विधीयते
saṃgavastrimuhūrto'yaṃ madhyāhnastu samantataḥ | tataśca trimuhūrtāśca aparāhṇo vidhīyate
സംഗവം മൂന്നു മുഹൂർത്തങ്ങളടങ്ങിയതാണ്; മധ്യാഹ്നം എല്ലാടവും വ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിന് ശേഷം വീണ്ടും മൂന്നു മുഹൂർത്തങ്ങൾ ‘അപരാഹ്ണം’ എന്നു നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നു.
