ततो दुःखं समभवन्मंकेस्तत्र वरानने । कस्मान्मे भगवांस्तुष्टिं न गच्छति महेश्वरः
tato duḥkhaṃ samabhavanmaṃkestatra varānane | kasmānme bhagavāṃstuṣṭiṃ na gacchati maheśvaraḥ
അപ്പോൾ, ഹേ സുന്ദരമുഖിയേ! അവിടെ മങ്കിക്ക് ദുഃഖം ഉദിച്ചു—“ഭഗവാൻ മഹേശ്വരൻ എനിക്കു മേൽ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് പ്രസന്നനാകുന്നില്ല?”
