त्वं पुनः कुब्जरूपश्च यज्ञपूजापरायणः । न च प्राप्नोषि वृक्षाणां शाखाग्राण्यतियत्नवान्
tvaṃ punaḥ kubjarūpaśca yajñapūjāparāyaṇaḥ | na ca prāpnoṣi vṛkṣāṇāṃ śākhāgrāṇyatiyatnavān
എന്നാൽ നീ കുബ്ജരൂപനായിരിക്കുന്നു; യജ്ഞപൂജകളിൽ പരായണനായിട്ടും, അത്യധികം ശ്രമിച്ചാലും വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ ശാഖകളുടെ അഗ്രഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ എത്തുവാൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ല।
