तस्मात्कृतस्मरो लोके कीर्त्यते स महीतले । तं दृष्ट्वा न जडो नांधो नासुखी न च दुर्भगः । जायते तु कदा मर्त्यो न दरिद्रो न रोगवान्
tasmātkṛtasmaro loke kīrtyate sa mahītale | taṃ dṛṣṭvā na jaḍo nāṃdho nāsukhī na ca durbhagaḥ | jāyate tu kadā martyo na daridro na rogavān
അതുകൊണ്ട് ഭൂമിയിലും ലോകത്തിലും അദ്ദേഹം ‘കൃതസ്മരൻ’ എന്ന പേരിൽ കീർത്തിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ആ പുണ്യസ്ഥലം ദർശിച്ചാൽ മർത്ത്യൻ ഒരിക്കലും മന്ദബുദ്ധിയോടെ, അന്ധനായി, ദുഃഖിതനായി, ദുര്ഭാഗ്യവാനായി ജനിക്കുകയില്ല; ദരിദ്രനായി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ രോഗിയായി ജനിക്കുകയുമില്ല।
