यदा न धारणे शक्तास्तस्य गर्भस्य ताः स्त्रियः । ततस्ताभ्यः स शीतांशुर्निपपात वसुंधराम्
yadā na dhāraṇe śaktāstasya garbhasya tāḥ striyaḥ | tatastābhyaḥ sa śītāṃśurnipapāta vasuṃdharām
ആ സ്ത്രീരൂപ ദിക്കുകൾ ആ ഗർഭതത്ത്വം ധരിക്കാൻ അശക്തരായപ്പോൾ, ശീതകിരണനായ സോമൻ അവരിൽ നിന്ന് വീണ് ഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പതിച്ചു.
