बिभेत्यल्पश्रुताद्वेदो मामयं चालयिष्यति । इतिहासपुराणैस्तु निश्चलोऽयं कृतः पुरा
bibhetyalpaśrutādvedo māmayaṃ cālayiṣyati | itihāsapurāṇaistu niścalo'yaṃ kṛtaḥ purā
വേദം അല്പശ്രുതനെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു—‘ഇവൻ എന്നെ ചലിപ്പിക്കും’ എന്ന്. എന്നാൽ ഇതിഹാസങ്ങളും പുരാണങ്ങളും വഴി അത് പണ്ടേ ദൃഢവും അചലവും ആക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു।
