केवलं ब्राह्मणास्तत्र स्थिताः सदसि भामिनि । ते दृष्ट्वा शंकरं प्राप्तं कोपसंरक्तलोचनम्
kevalaṃ brāhmaṇāstatra sthitāḥ sadasi bhāmini | te dṛṣṭvā śaṃkaraṃ prāptaṃ kopasaṃraktalocanam
ഹേ സുന്ദരീ, അവിടെ സഭയിൽ ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാർ മാത്രമേ നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്നുള്ളൂ. ക്രോധത്തിൽ ചുവന്ന കണ്ണുകളോടെ ശങ്കരൻ എത്തുന്നതു അവർ കണ്ടു।
