ईश्वर उवाच । तस्यैव पूर्वदिग्भागे लकुलीशस्तु मूर्तिमान् । स्वयं तिष्ठति देवेशि कृत्वा घोरं तपः पुरा
īśvara uvāca | tasyaiva pūrvadigbhāge lakulīśastu mūrtimān | svayaṃ tiṣṭhati deveśi kṛtvā ghoraṃ tapaḥ purā
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ ദേവേശി! അതിന്റെ കിഴക്കുഭാഗത്ത് ലകുലീശൻ മూర్తിമാനായി സ്വയം നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു; മുൻകാലത്ത് അദ്ദേഹം ഘോര തപസ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു.
