mūrttisthaḥ pūjyate yena vidhānena maheśvari | dvādaśātmā yathā sūryastatte vakṣyāmyaśeṣataḥ
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: A Sūrya icon in a shrine, with twelve radiating petals or twelve small attendant solar forms around the central disc; the officiant prepares to explain the full procedure to Mahādevī.
The transcendent Sun can be approached through consecrated form (mūrti), and understanding his twelvefold manifestation deepens reverent worship.
Arkasthala/Prabhāsakṣetra remains the implied ritual-geography where this Sūrya-mūrti worship is taught.
Mūrti-pūjā of Sūrya is explicitly indicated, with a promise to detail the full vidhāna and the twelvefold aspect.
