एवं वस्त्रादि संशोध्य ततः स्नानं समाचरेत् । शुचौ मनोरमे स्थाने संगृह्यास्त्रेण मृत्तिकाम्
evaṃ vastrādi saṃśodhya tataḥ snānaṃ samācaret | śucau manorame sthāne saṃgṛhyāstreṇa mṛttikām
ഇങ്ങനെ വസ്ത്രാദികൾ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ച ശേഷം സ്നാനം ആചരിക്കണം. ശുചിയായ മനോഹരസ്ഥാനത്ത് ‘അസ്ത്ര’ മന്ത്രം പ്രയോഗിച്ച് സ്നാനാർത്ഥം മൃത്തിക (മണ്ണ്) ശേഖരിക്കണം।
