bhānumāśritya sarve te modante divi suvrate | tasmādbhānusamaṃ devaṃ nāhaṃ paśyāmi kañcana

Translation

ഹേ സുവ്രതേ! ഭാനു (സൂര്യൻ)നെ ആശ്രയിച്ച് ആ എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരും സ്വർഗത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാൽ സൂര്യനോടു തുല്യനായ ദേവനെ ഞാൻ കാണുന്നില്ല.
