Skanda (deduced from Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa māhātmya narration style)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Beloved interlocutor (priye) / inquirer within the māhātmya frame
Scene: A sacred grove in Prabhāsa with kadamba blossoms, atimuktaka creepers, and āṭarūṣaka shrubs; pilgrims offer water and flowers. Above, the Maruts are hinted as luminous wind-deities riding clouds, signifying the promised loka.
Sacred geography sanctifies even flora; serving holy trees and plants at a tīrtha yields both worldly welfare (health, wealth) and higher merit.
Prabhāsakṣetra (Prabhāsa), praised through the merits connected with its sacred trees and plants.
A phalaśruti-style instruction to “resort to/serve” specific sacred plants (Kadamba, Atimuktaka, Āṭarūṣaka) for stated results.
