അത്യന്തം പ്രചണ്ഡ ദൈത്യങ്ങളെ സംഹരിക്കുന്നവളും, പൗലസ്ത്യൻ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചവളും, മഹിഷാസുരഘ്നിയും, മഹാകായയുമായ ദേവി പ്രാഭാസിക ക്ഷേത്രഭൂമിയിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു।
