Transliteration

kālahīnaṃ na kartavyaṃ kṛtaṃ na phaladaṃ bhavet | vedeṣvayamadhīkāro dṛṣṭaḥ sarvo manīṣibhiḥ

അകാലത്തിൽ കർമ്മം ചെയ്യരുത്; ചെയ്താലും അത് ഫലദായകമാകില്ല. അധികാരവും കാലനിയമവും എന്ന ഈ വിധി വേദങ്ങളിൽ സർവത്ര മുനിമാർ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
