यदा तु ऋक्षराजेन सोमनाथः प्रति ष्ठितः । तदा ब्रह्मादयो देवाः सर्वे तत्र समागताः । प्रतिष्ठार्थं हि देवस्य शशांकेन निमन्त्रिताः
yadā tu ṛkṣarājena somanāthaḥ prati ṣṭhitaḥ | tadā brahmādayo devāḥ sarve tatra samāgatāḥ | pratiṣṭhārthaṃ hi devasya śaśāṃkena nimantritāḥ
നക്ഷത്രരാജനായ ശശാങ്കൻ (ചന്ദ്രൻ) സോമനാഥനെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചപ്പോൾ, ബ്രഹ്മാദി സർവ്വദേവന്മാരും അവിടെ ഒന്നിച്ചു കൂടി—ദേവപ്രതിഷ്ഠാർത്ഥം ചന്ദ്രൻ ക്ഷണിച്ചതിനാൽ।
