ईश्वर उवाच । साधु पृष्टं त्वया देवि कथयामि समासतः । सिद्धेश्वरो ह्यभूद्येन जैगीषव्येश्वरो हरः
īśvara uvāca | sādhu pṛṣṭaṃ tvayā devi kathayāmi samāsataḥ | siddheśvaro hyabhūdyena jaigīṣavyeśvaro haraḥ
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ ദേവി, നീ നല്ലതായി ചോദിച്ചു. സംക്ഷേപമായി പറയുന്നു—‘ജൈഗീഷവ്യേശ്വരൻ’ എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധനായ ഹരൻ എങ്ങനെ ‘സിദ്ധേശ്വരൻ’ ആയി.
