सर्वेषां चैव पीठानामाधारं पीठमुत्तमम् । सौराष्ट्रे तु महादेवि नाम्ना ख्यातं महोदयम् । कामरूपधरं ज्ञानं यत्राद्यापि प्रवर्तते
sarveṣāṃ caiva pīṭhānāmādhāraṃ pīṭhamuttamam | saurāṣṭre tu mahādevi nāmnā khyātaṃ mahodayam | kāmarūpadharaṃ jñānaṃ yatrādyāpi pravartate
എല്ലാ പീഠങ്ങളുടെയും ആധാരമായ ആ പരമോത്തമ പീഠം—ഹേ മഹാദേവീ—സൗരാഷ്ട്രത്തിൽ ‘മഹോദയം’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധം. അവിടെ കാമരൂപധാരിണിയായ ജ്ഞാനം ഇന്നും പ്രവഹിക്കുന്നു.
