पतितं तच्च वै नालं प्रभासक्षेत्रमध्यतः । तदेव लिंगं संजातं महानालेति विश्रुतम्
patitaṃ tacca vai nālaṃ prabhāsakṣetramadhyataḥ | tadeva liṃgaṃ saṃjātaṃ mahānāleti viśrutam
ആ നാളം പ്രഭാസക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ വീണു. അതിൽ നിന്നുതന്നെ ഒരു ലിംഗം ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു; പിന്നീടത് ‘മഹാനാള’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധമായി.
