शाकद्वीपे महादेवि भ्रमिस्थस्य तदा रवेः । वर्षाणां तु शतं साग्रं तक्ष्यमाणे विभावसौ
śākadvīpe mahādevi bhramisthasya tadā raveḥ | varṣāṇāṃ tu śataṃ sāgraṃ takṣyamāṇe vibhāvasau
ഹേ മഹാദേവീ! ശാകദ്വീപിൽ ഭ്രമിസ്ഥയിൽ നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന രവിയെ തക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ആ വിഭാവസു നൂറു വർഷത്തേക്കാൾ അല്പം അധികകാലം അത് സഹിച്ചു നിന്നു.
