īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi rāmeśvaramanuttamam | jāmadagnyena rāmeṇa svayaṃ tatra pratiṣṭhitam
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Rāmeśvara (Prabhāsa)
Type: temple
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva instructs Devī to proceed to a nearby shrine; in the distance a liṅga-temple marked ‘Rāmeśvara’, with Paraśurāma shown as the ancient founder performing pratiṣṭhā.
Pilgrimage to a consecrated liṅga is presented as a direct means to receive Śiva’s grace through sacred geography (sthāna-māhātmya).
Rāmeśvara at Prabhāsa-kṣetra, said to have been established by Jāmadagnya Rāma (Paraśurāma).
The verse prescribes visiting (gacchet) the Rāmeśvara shrine; no specific dāna/snān/japa is stated here.
