स चैवं नवधा भिन्नः पुरभेदेन सुंदरि । तस्य यो नवमो भागः सागरस्य च सन्निधौ
sa caivaṃ navadhā bhinnaḥ purabhedena suṃdari | tasya yo navamo bhāgaḥ sāgarasya ca sannidhau
ഹേ സുന്ദരി, പുരഭേദം മൂലം ആ പുണ്യക്ഷേത്രം ഇങ്ങനെ ഒമ്പതായി വിഭജിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിലെ ഒമ്പതാം ഭാഗം സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അതിസന്നിധിയിൽ തന്നെയാണ്.
