इत्थं विवस्वतः सा तु बहुशः पृच्छतोऽन्यथा । न वाचा भाषते क्रुद्धः शापं दातुं समुद्यतः
itthaṃ vivasvataḥ sā tu bahuśaḥ pṛcchato'nyathā | na vācā bhāṣate kruddhaḥ śāpaṃ dātuṃ samudyataḥ
വിവസ്വാൻ അവളോട് പലവിധത്തിൽ പലവട്ടം ചോദിച്ചിട്ടും അവൾ വാക്കാൽ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞില്ല. അപ്പോൾ അദ്ദേഹം ക്രോധിച്ച് ശാപം നൽകാൻ ഉദ്യതനായി.
